ITR-3 Form is designed for the individuals and HUFs who have annual income generated from the profession or from the proprietary business. However, if an individual is a partner in a partnership firm that is conducting business or professional activity aren’t eligible to file tax under the ITR-3. In that case, ITR-2 is applicable. Not Eligible for ITR-3 Form
The individual or HUF generating income as a partner of a partnership firm which is involved in the business or profession activities should not use ITR-3 Form.
The person should file an income tax return on or before 31st July and businesses should file on or before 30th September using ITR-3 Form.
Documents required to file ITR-3 Form are – PAN Card, Aadhar Card, Bank Passbooks and Form 16.
